Natalia Drepina Photography Research

Natalia Drepina is a professional photographer in Russia, she is usually in her work, she is known for her expressionism being in the models, emotions, gestures and in their general facial features. A lot of her work is in a subdued colour which adds to the creepy/scary feel of the photographs. Her work can be found on Devaint Art.

This has inspired me to try and add a light bit of colour but also change the level of contrast to give it a faded effect.
I think this effect would work perfectly with the topic ,"Human Trafficking", as it is very serious and lots of her images could relate to trafficking/abuse.
